We were in Waterford doing some wedding venue shopping and stopped in La Garza's for lunch based on other Yelp reviews. Not expecting much because we saw it was a small diner...but we were wrong! Typically I am not a huge burger fan,( I will eat them ), but normally leave at least half my plate untouched. Not here! I finished every bite, including the fries
( extra crispy good). Others in our party of 5 had the Fiery Fury Burger and raved on that as well ( they like spicy food). The sweet potato fries were also yummy crispy! Not one plate left with food out of 5 of us!
The owners were very sweet and attentive during our entire visit! Will definitely be going back! -

This place is NEVER open, they deliver, but never answer's the phone, always closed. Maybe they are no longer in business.

We got a groupon coupon for this restaurant and it expired today, 2/18/19, so since the sun was out we decided to go for a drive and eat lunch here. The place is in cute downtown Waterford, and it is small, nothing fancy, but the service was perfect, the food was sooo good and we recommend it. We had the all American burgers, fries and raspberry iced teas. The burgers were delicious, juicy and the fried were cooked perfectly. The owner was very sweet and attentive. We'll go again.

OK, this place is a hole in the wall in a tiny little town somewhere east of Modesto. It's literally looks like a house that was converted to a diner. It's kinda beat up and the only beer on tap is Coronoa in a kegerator sitting out in the dining room.
However, these place makes some AMAZING burgers. I mean, really fricking good burgers. Did I say how good these burgers are? I also ordered a side salad and I was really scared because usually little dives like this are using week old bagged salad mixes, but this salad was cool, and crisp and fresh and delicious. Great meal and not expensive.
So don't be turned off by the divey atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. -

I honestly came in thinking the food was going to be ok but boy was I wrong!!! One of the best burgers I've had!
